Description
As a child, "The Artist " fondley remembers many hours spent with his sisters and mother hunting and captureing all the various species of butterflys and moths. Those were humble and holesome times. They were "Gods gift" to the world, and the wilder, the better. An unknown, green, jumbo catipilar was found, captured and studied in an old antique dresser, as it went through its stages of transition and development. Much to the surprise of the six year old artist, the ginormous catipilar became this beautiful luna moth traped in this piece of furniture. Young Templeton released the moth, but still owns the piece of furniture and the indelible memory of the positive experience. Working from his history, and experiences ,makes "the artist " work more meaningful, and the stories make the work more genuine.
