Description
Wonderful, realistic , and free flowing, vegetables dance freely in this colorful composition. The Artist was not a big fan of hot southwest food on arrival to Arizona, but after years of experimenting, he finally submitted and began to enjoy it. Painting in a Southwest style, was not his forte, but as time passed, he became internationally known as a " Mexican Folk Artist " in the publishing industry. Close observation will reveal many hidden subliminal southwest images.This technique eventually became a trademark for the Artist. Unique proportions, size variations, and brilliant color exploration, are all apparent in his paintings. Well balanced compositions and levitating elements were also indicative of his style, and can be seen throughout his vast body of work.
