Description
Although this is not a piece of art, It became one. William reportably applied 37 gallons of white stain (Artistically) to his brothers mansion, as a summer job, to stay "a float" one summer in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The Lake home, had to be painted very carefully and accurately, because of the amount of detail, screens, and abundant room for error. The lake home consisted of Many large storm windows, and screens, 143 eves, and lots of architectural detail high off the ground. whether you are an artist, or a professional painter, this particular assignment was considered a "Doozie"! The Artist brother, was the boss, but gave William an open invitation, that he end up enjoying for 25 years, during the summers. A "Painters paradise", the property and the area was so inspirational, that the Artist produced the majority of his Mid-West style in, on, and around the property. Templeton had to perform many of these types of jobs, in order to stay true to his art, passion, and stay on the path. Without the Love, generosity, and positive influence, his family provided, "the Artist" would not have been able to produce such magical paintings. So " Cloverside ", Its breathtaking beauty, and the indelible experiences and inspiration, became an invaluable part of "The Artist" Life, Career, and Art! Thanks Karen, and Thanks Bra!
