When cruising the jungle, looking for reference material, the artist was able to capture this ginormous caterpillar in its natural habitat. Huge,colorful,and unique, this beauty was positioned within an intense and rich jewel toned background.This was a unique play on color, because there were many color opposites in and throughout the composition.This was photographed with a big Canon lens and traditional film.
Back deep in the Jamaican jungle, there is a lot of room for error, gratefully the young artist made it out of there alive and without incident.
