Description
A very spiritual painting depicting "the Legend of the Sacred White Buffalo" revered by the Lakota Indian tribe. This painting has very deep meaning to the artist. The love and respect he has for Native Americans runs deep in his own heritage. His initial introduction to the White Buffalo came from the legendary Queen of Southwest publishing, Joan Cawley. The White Buffalo was the family logo for many years. Joan recognized William's talent and published seven of his paintings which contributed to making him an internationally well known artist. The artist always admired her wit, her advice, and her knowledge of the arts, and the publishing business. Proud and honored to be her friend, the artist feels very fortunate to have been associated with the publisher and her wonderful family. This painting is loaded with subliminal images and the artist has blended the symbolism with the visual content to create a thought provoking masterpiece. This painting is protected under the copyright laws of the United States. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition will result in civil liability and criminal prosecution. Copyright 2016 William T. Templeton. All Rights Reserved .
