Description
This oil painting and all of the elements within, are beautifully presented in earth tones, as well as brilliant colors .The composition, although simple, is also complex. The sharp contrast of the flowers and humming birds over the natural tones make this piece very beautiful and exquisite. The original oil painting was created for Marshall Bauer, a prominent Chicago businessman, art collector, and personal friend of the artist. Marshall was instrumental in teaching the Artist how to be a successful businessman, as well as, a creative talent. The generosity of Marshall, his time and knowledge, will forever be appreciated. The local artist thrives when he gets involved with jungle work. He spent many hours studying and enjoying the jungle with Marshall's son, and daughter in law, who is also a very talented and gifted painter. This piece was inspired by the incredible explorations with his close friends, as well as, a piece of art from the eighteenth century. This painting is protected under the copyright laws of the United States. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition will result in civil liability and criminal prosecution.
