"The Artist " admits he has a sentimental appreciation for all types of flowers, when it comes to creating his own arrangements, this composition comes up more disorganized than compositions from the past. Random placement, brilliance in color, and a whimsical over-all feel, makes this painting stand out from many of his others. Turquoise, in general, is one of the Artist favorite colors. Living in the southwest has exposed him to turquoise in all different ways. As an appreciation, to one of his favorte colors (blue) , he chose to load the background of this painting in shades of the unique and variable color. This type of out of the ordinary activity in his work, proves that he is (again) breaking his own barriers, is no longer affected by criticism, and is personally branching out, and achieving new heights. Blue is a very relaxing color, and this painting is full of it. in addition, its fun, happy, super colorful, and very whimsical.
