The Artist love for Indian Art, comes from the depth of his own heritage. Allegedly, "The Local Artist" is related to Pocahontas. He has been told that many of his ancestors have been of Indian decent. The inspiring greatness, and depth of the Native American people, has always fascinated the Artist, especially when it comes to their spirituality. The culture is rich, and deep in many ways, ecspecially when it comes to its artistic value. These amazing people and their culture, are an endless open book of knowledge. The various Native American Tribes have always been a positive inspiration to the artist life. The paintings created by The Artist with Native American subject matter, include an abundance of meaningful, and positive spiritual imagery. Knowing, learning, and being inspired by his Native American friends and aquantences, has lead Templeton to much greater heights in his work.
